Team Project

Here is my third blog post! I am excited about my team for the proposal, and I think we are going to work well together. So far, we discussed our proposal ideas and decided to work on the idea of promoting good body image in local schools. We set up a google doc to share our thoughts and combine our research. We outlined the research that we would need to do together, and then we divided up the research responsibilities. I am excited to see how the rest of our project progresses.

This is my second blog post to discuss the second online conference on Canvas's Big Blue Button. Our group got acquainted with the system again and began reviewing each other's writing. We took turns uploading and sharing our Introduction documents. It was helpful to get feedback from others again about my writing, and I received good suggestions to edit my introduction.

In general, I find peer editing to be a very valuable exercise. Not only are others able to notice mistakes that I may not have noticed myself, but they also can suggest different ways to word phrases that I may have trouble with myself. I usually like to rely on myself without getting assistance from others, but I am beginning to see the value of having others read my work.

This is my first blog post! I am writing to talk about my conference on Canvas using Big Blue Button. It was a relatively uneventful Online Conference, we got familiar with the system and that was all. It is easy enough to use.

I enjoyed our first class as well. I don't usually like being forced to meet people but the 5-minute dating was actually sort of fun. It was good to be able to meet a few classmates in a low-pressure situation and lean some names. I'm looking forward to the rest of the semester.
